I have been to sports events in large, cities before and have surveyed the crowd.  Most of these people are corporate executives who can afford the cost of a ticket.  The blue collar man and his family are not to be found.  The beauty of a game in Buffalo has always been the atmosphere and excitement.  Its sitting with people who are your neighbors.  I really don't want to mention any other cities or teams by name, but suffice it to say that these games lacked the kind of atmosphere only found in Buffalo.  The suit and tie crowd was conducting business in the bleachers not cheering the home team.....certainly not doing the wave.  I see games in Toronto as being like these other venues.  The true Buffalonian will feel betrayed and will not follow the team to Toronto.  I for one would be forced to look to a city, like Cleveland (God help me) or some other similar place for my new team.  But lets not let that happen!!

You're absolutely right Biscuit!  All you have to do is go to a Leafs game (if you can afford the ticket!).  Look around...it's full of the corporate type as you mentioned.  There's no way a family of four could go see a game unless they're going to pass on their spring trip to Disneyworld.  On top of that, the liquor laws in Ontario wouldn't allow for a proper tailgate party.....besides, there's no room anywhere near the Rogers Centre for a tailgate party.  As much as I'd love to see a local NFL team, I don't think the province or city would do it justice.  The Bills need to stay in Buffalo!
