You're absolutely right Biscuit!  All you have to do is go to a Leafs game (if you can afford the ticket!).  Look around...it's full of the corporate type as you mentioned.  There's no way a family of four could go see a game unless they're going to pass on their spring trip to Disneyworld.  On top of that, the liquor laws in Ontario wouldn't allow for a proper tailgate party.....besides, there's no room anywhere near the Rogers Centre for a tailgate party.  As much as I'd love to see a local NFL team, I don't think the province or city would do it justice.  The Bills need to stay in Buffalo!

I'm sure a lot of us from north of the border are behind you guys too!  Trust me...it WON'T be the same
if it comes to Toronto!  Hell, look at the Leafs' record the past 40 years!   Shocked

Buffalo is more of a hockey city than a football city. The bills may do good every so often but they're a sub par team and most people I know look forward to watching a hockey game over a football game any day of the week. Greenbay, now THAT'S a football city. Buffalo is just a city with a team.

P.S.-Don Paul is a drunk!!!

You can't be serious.

Buffalo is and always will be a football city first.
I'm a Sabres fan, but the Bills are #1 in this town.

The Bills games are an all day event. No other NFL city knows how to tailgate like Buffalo Bills fans.

GO BILLS!

Well if thats the way you feel you don't have to post on this board.  I am a fan of all teams in the area, and we don't need to talk about sub par teams.  Even the sabres missed the playoffs last year, so you don't talk about subpar seasons, and after mr. knox died and the sabres were operated by the NHL looking for an owner, the sabres seemed to not be doing well.  But, I will not say they are sub par because I am a fan, and I am from buffalo.  Every team, from every league, in every city, in some period of time has had tough times, in which they have not made the playoffs.  It is just a fact of life in sports.  So Go Bills, Sabres, Bisons, all UB sports, Bandits and every other team in the area and lets keep the Bills in Buffalo.

Toyota manufactures in the United States. Are you saying they have to specifically manufacture in NY to advertise at ralph?  Thats crazy if you're saying that.

Toyota is the only one with the $$$ to afford the advertising. All of the domestic car companies are broke and can't afford the cost of advertising here.

I have nothing against the Bills becoming a fixture in Buffalo provided it becomes a responsible, contributing member of the community.  By this I mean paying rent for the taxpayer built and maintained stadium, remunerating the taxpayers for receipts from extemporaneous concerts etc. and ceasing the use of public property (light standards, stadium etc.) to advertise Toyota products, or at least sharing in these proceeds.  Toyota does not manufacture in New York State and this advertising is against local manufacturers.

Local citizens should not be asked to shell out hard earned tax dollars and suffer further promoted deterioration of manufacturing business in times like these, to support a losing team, just so a relatively small portion of the community can be entertained for a few hours at 7 or 8 seasonal games.  This is why outsiders call us the city of losers!

Best of luck, Bobby and Alex !!!  How refreshing to see someone actually DO something about this, instead of just crabbing about it over beer and cigars.....I have been going to Bills games since the team started. My dad and I used to walk to "The Rockpile", and I have nothing but great memories of all the games we shared together. I hope that, through your efforts and the support of many other Buffalo Fans, memories will continue to be made.
